Dear Member,
There are moments in every organisation’s journey that invite us to pause, reflect, and look ahead with renewed purpose. Reaching the midpoint of 2026 is one of those moments.
Last year, EPPF celebrated an extraordinary milestone - 75 years of serving generations of members and their families with integrity, stability and care. While much has changed over the years, our commitment to safeguarding your financial future has remained constant.
Despite ongoing global uncertainty and market volatility, EPPF has continued to deliver strong investment performance, with assets under management growing to R230.9 billion as at 30 June 2025. This reflects disciplined governance, responsible investing, and the trust you continue to place in us.
But financial strength is only part of our story. Our greatest measure of success is your experience as an EPPF member.
Over the past year, many of you told us you wanted simpler, faster, and more accessible ways to engage with the Fund. We listened. Your feedback has helped shape investments in our digital platforms and technology so that we can continue improving the way we serve you.
Listening is central to who we are. Every conversation, enquiry and suggestion helps us become a stronger, more responsive organisation. It is for this reason that I personally invite you to participate in our 2026 Annual Member Satisfaction Survey, which will run from 6 July to 31 July 2026.
The survey will be conducted independently by BMI-TechKnowledge (BMIT), a reputable research consultancy with extensive experience in customer satisfaction research. BMIT is a member of the Southern African Marketing Research Association and adheres to a strict code of conduct, including compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and survey ethics. Please look out for the survey invitation, which will be sent from research@bmit.africa.
Your participation is an opportunity to influence the future of EPPF. Your feedback will help guide the services we provide, the technology we invest in, and how we communicate with you throughout your retirement journey.
Whether your experience has exceeded expectations or highlighted areas where we can improve, we want to hear from you.
As we look ahead, our ambition remains clear: to be South Africa’s most trusted and member-centred retirement fund, delivering both financial security and an exceptional member experience.
Thank you for the trust you continue to place in EPPF, and thank you, in advance, for lending us your voice as we shape the future together.
Kind regards,
Shafeeq Abrahams
Chief Executive and Principal Officer
