The world of work is picking up pace again and schools have kicked off the first term. It seems December 2024 has gone by so quickly. I trust that you had a restful festive season and that you found time to spend it with loved ones. Before the festivities, I shared my year-end message. If you missed it, you can read it here.  

This year marks a significant milestone in our history. It’s our 75^th anniversary of caring beyond tomorrow for our members. The Fund began operating on 1 January 1950 and was registered on 21 April 1958 in terms of the Pension Funds Act 24 of 1956. It’s therefore an opportune time for us to roll out EPPF Reimagined, our new five-year strategy. Included in our plans is a multi-employer fund with various benefit options. Our focus will remain on the following objectives: 

• Creating peace of mind for our members by ensuring the sustainability of the Fund.
• Serving our members with care, empathy and excellence.
• Leading effectively. 
• Impacting positively on our communities and stakeholders.
• Securing our future.

We know that through the achievement of these objectives, we will continue to consolidate our commitment to caring for you, your family and society at large.
