The EPPF strives to provide excellent customer service as part of attaining its Formula for Success. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the service you receive, you may lodge a complaint in one of the following ways:

Once you have submitted your complaint, you should receive acknowledgement of receipt within 48 hours. Your complaint will be referred to the relevant department for resolution. We will make contact with you during the course of resolving your complaint, should we require additional information. It is therefore important to provide all your contact details. In terms of the Pension Funds Act No. 24 of 1956, we are required to resolve your complaint within 30 days from the date of receipt, and we will endeavour to meet this timeline.

Should you feel that your complaint was not resolved to your satisfaction, or we failed to resolve your complaint within the predefined timelines, you may lodge a complaint with the Pension Funds Adjudicator. Click here to find the Pension Funds Adjudicator details.

The EPPF has a zero tolerance for fraud and corruption. Should you wish to report misconduct, fraud or crime, you may do so by contacting the Vuvuzela Hotline. The Vuvuzela Hotline is EPPF’s anonymous crime reporting hotline service which is administered by an independent entity.

What can be reported?

You can report any concerns about crime and/or fraud relating to:

  • Benefit payments
  • Investments and procurement
  • People who claim benefits to which they are not entitled
  • Abuse of EPPF resources for personal gain
  • Unethical behaviour
  • Corrupt behaviour, abuse or harassment
  • Discrimination
  • Intimidation and victimisation of those who disclose information
  • Any other matter relevant to the EPPF regarding crime and or fraud
