Trustee Elections : Voting phase

minutes Read

Dear Member/Pensioner

On 2 January 2020, the voting phase of the EPPF Trustee Elections commenced.

We are calling on all members and pensioners to make their mark and vote for the candidate that they want to represent them on the Board of Trustees.

In the communication distributed on 20 December 2019, the Independent Electoral Officer provided detailed information on how you can vote in these elections. There have been great efforts taken to ensure that members and pensioners from around the country are able to cast their vote. The voting channels include USSD (free), Internet (at your computers or via the kiosks at selected election sites), SMS and for pensioners Post (free when using business reply envelope) .

In this Voting Bulletin, you would have also received information on the rules, procedures and guidelines concerning the voting phase. Voting closes on 28 February 2020 and the Trustee Election process is due for completion in May 2020.

Last week, you should have also received notifications which provide a link to voting options and include your access key, a unique number identifying you on the Trustee Elections voters' roll. Do not share this access key with anyone except election officials as it is meant for your information and vote only. Please ensure that the access key is not shared with EPPF employees or election candidates.

Should you experience any challenges with voting on either of the channels, or should you require any other information please contact the Independent Electoral Officer, Mr Thobile Thomas:
