It is with regret that the Board announces that Ms Nopasika Lila has resigned as Chief Executive and Principal Officer of the Eskom Pension and Provident Fund.

 Ms Lila has indicated that after thorough introspection she took a personal decision to move on. 

Since her arrival in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer and thereafter as Chief Executive and Principal Officer, Ms. Lila has served the organisation and our members with professionalism and diligence. Through her leadership and active participation serving on various committees and special projects, she has made valuable contributions to the evolution and growth of the Fund. 

During her tenure, she has relied on and received great commitment, support and respect from the Board and employees of the Fund. 

Ms Lila will continue to serve as Chief Executive and Principal Officer until 31 March 2019 and will work alongside the Board and the executive management team to ensure a seamless transition. 

Ms Lila’s resignation is a great loss to the Fund and the Board would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her commitment and dedication during her time at the Fund.
